About a century ago I used Kmail for the last time. Since then I was an Evolution user, on KDE. While installing my new laptop I thought, let’s give Kontact a try. Some things work different, some I have to find out, some I dislike. Anyway, When starting I get a message there is an update. But I don’t know how to do this update. Zypper up and Discover don’t find any. What am I missing?
Is it this message?

Yes it is.
Please take a look at the KDE Release Schedule: <Schedules>
- Fact is that, the KDE community have moved to rolling releases – Long Term Support has ceased to exist.
Bug Reports tend to be ignored if the concerned product version is more than one release behind the current release. - The KDE Frameworks are on a monthly release schedule.
- KDE Plasma and KDE Gear are on a 3 times per year schedule.
BTW, you can determine your current installed KDE Gear version by means of –
> dolphin --version
The KDE Plasma and KDE Frameworks and Qt versions are displayed by –
> kinfo

Moved back to Evolution. It does what I want. This problem was not the only one I encountered.
