Can not login: error in service modle

Hi, all
I am a newbie from china. I get an urgent&big problem which puts me into ‘crazy’.
I used opensuse11.2 M2 DVD_32 ios installing the OS and the factory repo(Index of /factory/repo/oss) as my update repository, then I did a latest update this afternoon, but got a crash while updating around 67%(as installation’s sleeping for a long time). I killed the process and restart the OS. At last, I got the problem: Can not login: error in service modle.
Only root user/runlevel 3/dbus,acpid,random,rpcbind,kbd,avahi_daemon,nscd,postfix,postgresql,cron FAILED/nfs,smbfs SKIPPED!!.
Any one can help me?

Thank you.
I tried to reinstall 11.2 M2 from the DVD, but it didn’t work as well as repair and rescue. After loading the kernel, it reported an ‘sums’ error.
Even I keep my MS OS, but I moved lots data into opensuse os, I CAN NOT lose the data.
Thanks again.
Can someone give a method to save my data?

YES, the best way is to have ANY live CD to recover those files. They often come pretty handy :slight_smile:
