This morning I upgraded from 10.3 to 11.2 using the upgrade method. After the upgrade I find that I can not lock the KDE Screen by pressing CTRL-ALT-L or by pressing the Lock Screen button.
After searching I found that xscreensaver was not started. I started that, and it’s made no difference whatsoever. If I go into the settings on xscreensaver and tell it to lock the screen from there, it works (but that’s not very convenient).
The screensaver does not kick in unless I manually go in and tell it to do so.
-I do have Nvidia drivers on the system.
-It’s dual monitor, so xinerama was activated in configs.
-I’ve reinstalled the package a couple of times, just to be sure.
-It’s KDE4 on opensuse 11.2 64 bit.
Any thoughts that could get me in the right direction?
Thanks for any help folks can give me.
Jon
