can not install tar.gz file

Under 11.1, after extracting a file using the command ./configure, I get the screen below.

How do I correct the situation of “configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH”?

I am just getting my feet wet on openSUSE and it seems to work well for me, except for the problem.

See `config.log’ for more details.

I should have provided more information. when I open the configure.log file I get this.

thanks in advance if anyone can decipher this properly and show me the way.

configure: exit 1

go to Yast - software - software management

search for and install

gcc
make

more may be needed. try those first and lets see

That’s great!, that works great.
