Can not connect to repositories

Hello all. I’m newbie here. I currently installed openSUSE 11.3 on my laptop. I need to install some packages from repositories, but I had problem. When I add new repository (Index of /pub/packman/suse/11.2/x86_64), error dialog box show up. Here is wahat is written on the dialog box:

Error code: connection failde
Error message: could’nt connect to host

So, what do you think is the problem. Is it network/internet problem configured on my installation, or admin disable/restricted connection to the host.
Sorry my english is not good. I hope you understand what I wrote.
Thanks.

Welcome to the openSUSE forums. I think you have the wrong URL. Try adding in the following address:

http://packman.jacobs-university.de/suse/11.3/

Thank You,

Well, I used defaulut repos but still got error dialog box. Then I connected to another available connection (i used wireless connection) and connection to default suse repos well established.

Thank you jmcdaniel, problem resolved. I think the former wireless connection I used (which I couldnt connect to repos) has some kind of bandwith limitation policy.

Actually you quoted a URL, one stage too far forward, you just needed to drill back a stage
