Can I take the kernel of other distro's?

Ok, then my question is what is the best way to find out which modules are used on the PC (one is to connect everything i connect like iPOD phones etc right? ) I know that filesystem modules have to be built in right? (there are hundreds i will never use anyway :slight_smile:

Then check it with lsmod right?

Hi
Or run;

sudo /usr/sbin/hwinfo |grep module
