The apps and runtimes of flatpak are located at /var/lib/flatpak/, and ~/.var/app/ is for configuration files. Can I just copy them and related .destop to a new computer without redownloading and reinstalling most of them?
The flatpak apps I download is more than 1 GB, I want to use them in my new laptop.
Just try it. A basic search says it should work.
You save me a huge time!
I have to add remotes (AKA repositories) for the applications if updating is needed, normally it’s https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpak
. Sometimes reinstalled with --user or --system, I don’t know why.
