The main menu, when you click on computer, is there a way to edit that?
PS: Having to open a new screen in order to see all of my applications sucks.

I’m assuming you mean in GNOME… The default menu style openSUSE uses with GNOME is called SLAB. (KDE has kickoff)
The thing to normally do with SLAB, is to add the items you need access to as favourite. In the list of all your applications you can right click and select to add that app as favourite. That way these will be accessible quickly and you’ll rarely need to access the ‘more applications’ window.
You can also add the other GNOME menu by right clicking on a blank space of your panel, select ‘Add to panel’ and add the ‘Menu Bar’. This is the regular GNOME menu also known from Ubuntu/Fedora/etc…
There is the possibility to edit the SLAB menu, but I think that means editing the menu’s xml files… I haven’t seen any tweak tool for this so far.
Hope that helps,

Do you mean the maun menu launcher?
If so then right click the icon and launch the menu editor, here you can make more folders and move the entries about to shorten the list.

alacarte is the program for updating gnome menus. You need to install it.
