Can I delete KDE 4 and Ice WM

Hello,

I have noticed that I have many DE options in the drop down list on the login screen:

  • Ice WM
  • KDE Desktop
  • KDE Plasma 5 desktop

I am wondering if I can delete the first two and how to do that.
I want to keep KDE Plasma 5 only.

Please advise.

IceWM is small, and is a useful fallback for when KDE is broken. Best to keep it.

I’m not sure about “KDE Desktop”. That might just be an alternative name for “KDE Plasma5 Desktop”

Thanks for the reply. I think KDE Desktop is KDE 4 which I don’t need anymore

No it is just an alias for plasma5

Ice is good to have in an emergency
