can Fn F2 just control Bluetooth

I’m running OpenSUSE 11.3 on an Inspiron 9400 (E1705).

I want the Fn-F2 key combo to just toggle bluetooth on and off.

There’s a BIOS setting that claims to do this and I have set it. It doesn’t work.

Fn-F2 turns on and off bluetooth and wi-fi.

Fn-F2 is probably handled by the module hp-wmi. Turning all radios off is the
correct behavior.

If you install the rfkill utility, you should be able to soft block the
bluetooth devices while leaving the wifi on.

/usr/sbin/rfkill list

will show you the devices and the current state.

sudo /usr/sbin/rfkill block bluetooth

should do what you want.
