i installed opensuse11.1 64verison on my computer and all is fine except this :
every time i wanna add a repositories from opensuse or refresh the default oss or non-oss ones ,it gets stuck at content.key for default ones and repomd.xml.key for others :’(
though “11.1 update” repository works other repositories don’t work
what can i do?
i tried reinstalling to see if I messed up my installation somehow.
but i found out that at installation process if i uncheck the automatic configuration ,where its going to refresh my repositories it can refresh update repository but gets stuck at getting content.key for oss one and it stuck there forever so i have to restart my pc . but entering opensuse again it resumes setup again and it refreshes repositories again and i am stuck again :’(

but to answer your question : yes i was able to browse and download packages with firefox it opensuse (in my first install , the second one is still stuck to i am gonna install for the third time)
i could even download the contect.key file so i think its a problem with gnukey managment.
i remember in suse 11 sometimes it asked for me that if i trust the key .but in this version it just gets stuck at getting content.key or repomd.xml.key and and its stuck forever.
i think the problem is from packagekit package
because when i deleted it, yast works perfect and when adding repositories it asks if to add the keys and doesnt get stuck.
but i thuoght this packagekit was one of the new good changes in suse. how come it causing problems?
btw when packagekit was installed and i tried to open software managment it said that packagekit was accessing some file and i had to kill it so maybe thats the problem.
once again i am stuck :’(
i added oss repository and it worked fine but the problem still exists for non-oss and some other repositories as well (like nvidia)
what the hell should i do ?
i am disappointed with this version of suse.
its like it works whenever it wants to.
