Hello,
it is about openSuse 11 (out of the box), installed as 32 bit.
After an update sda2 seams to be full.
There is sda3 with 226 GB and sda2 with 21 GB, 19.7 for use and now only 748 MB avaliable.
Login as root is possible.
Login as user brings errormessage: >> call to lnusertemp faild (temporary directories full?) << and
than the login-window again.
As root I installed an new 2. user, there is also no login possible for this new user.
I checked /var/log/kdm.log >> Warning: Duplicate shape name " " << - and - >> Multiple doodads named <<
I googled, and some talk about rights and others about big files.
I followed the hints about rights. No change.
I cant find big files on sda2. I cleard the temp subdir and got up to now 748 MB free space as root.
I wonder, there is users home on sda2 and also on sda3 with the same files. I tried to move the files from sda2 to sda3. Some files had been overwriten. But there is still the complete home of the user on sda2.
I checked on an other system, and there is the same, that confuses me. Users home cant be physical on sda2, there is not enough space, but why is it shown under sda2?
Does someone has an idea to solve that problem:
call to lnusertemp faild (temporary directories full?)
Thx
Mac
