caf4926... A thankyou ..

Several months ago I was trying to get the Nvidia drivers to work on my desktop which had an onboard Nvidia card. Several guys here chipped in to assist , thankyou to them, but caf4926 stayed with me above and beyond what I consider normal.
I also have an Acer laptop with ATI dedicated video that Suse 12.1 worked with 100% so I said to caf4926 that I believed I had stretched friendship enough and would stop with the desktop until I bought an ATI card . To which he advised me Nvidia is a better choice.
I have just installed a cheapy Nvidia 7300, ( £6.00 off Ebay, I think the seller sold it off because it initially wouldn’t work so I pulled it apart and found the HS wasn’t contacting the chip which had a solid coat of dried thermal paste.) I then installed Suse 12.1 64 bit and hey ho its off to work it goes. Nvidia drivers perfectly installed.
So caf4926 credit where it’s due. Thankyou.
