CA Management root CA removal

How to remove root CA without knowing it’s password?

I created root CA with darn difficult password and then lost it so…

I don’t know any way to do anything about it on an existing system. You could back up /home and do a fresh install when you will be asked for a new password.

Um, just deleting the associated files shouldn’t require
knowledge of the password? Or did I not understand your
question correctly?

T.

That would work great, but where can we find the location of those files? I have looked in all the likely places in the docs, but information about the file locations is conspicuous by its absence.

yast ca management placed rootca in /var/lib/CAM/

how to locate these files?
zypper in mlocate
updatedb; locate “rootca_name”
