C++ compiler cannot create executables - In KDevelop

Hello Everyone,

I have an issue with KDevelop. When I try and “Build Project” it tells me that:

C++ compiler cannot create executables

I have googled this issue, but all the instances of this problem have been because gcc-c++ has not been installed. However for me, gcc-c++ (and gcc etc.) ARE all installed. And they all create executables. Does anyone have any ideas on getting KDevelop to build my project?

btw, I wasn’t sure if this should go into the “Applications” forum or the “Programming/Scripting” forum. So please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

Thanks in advance,
Samuel

Terribly sorry,
I have realised the problem (It was really simple!). Please feel free delete this thread. Sorry to have wasted your time.

Thanks,
Samuel
