burning dvd, permissions

I use OpenSuse Leap 42.1 in XFCE desktop environment. Brasero does not see my DVD although I can play DVDs in VLC> Xfburn prompts me that maybe I do not have permissions to burn DVDs as user. please inform me what I have to set in order to be able to burn DVDs.
