burn ISO fails.

shows am using : ATAPI: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NS70, GN01, max UDMA/100

Tried brasero which would not burn ISO, did not seem agreeable to reducing the speed to x4 .

On page https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Download_help#Burn_the_ISO_image.28s.29

Advice is from the command line can use cdrecord showing :

*** cdrecord dev=/dev/cdrecorder speed=44 driveropts=burnproof -eject -v isofile ***

Not working, puzzled as to why not able to burn another DVD ?

oops !

Sorry, did not realize this was in Deutsch

So happy, indeed appreciate if moved to English, though solution welcome…

You’re using /dev/cdrecorder instead of /dev/cdrom, or /dev/sr0

Many thanks, ended up using brasero on the desktop.

Noticed on https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Download_help#Burn_the_ISO_image.28s.29

the (Note that from 12.3 on, the ISO won’t fit onto a CD anymore, use a USB-stick instead)

Consider this resolved.
