Then I’m logging out, logging into (guess what - Novell Customer Support). What’s then - service request, buy, train, call by phone, any order or anything else?
The registration and login portal for Bugzilla is a Novell portal but once you have registered/logged in you should go straight to Bugzilla.
It’s a long time since I first registered but I’m sure you get an email to confirm your registration and to set up a password before you can log in for the first time.
Hello,
Afer validating your access, you seem to get in the : Novell Customer Center, where you can adjust your profile info, and also get support for Enterprise solutions and OSes. Now you have access to a portion of Novell sites, including the bugzilla part.
Now, I think you may check again : Submitting Bug Reports - openSUSE for some additional info, especially for How to to report a bug (there are links for searching open bugs, submitting ones for the appropriate version, and using some web browser customization to make navigation clearer).
The homepage is : https://bugzilla.novell.com/index.cgi (and now you see that you are logged in with your novell account, validated as per previous step)
You may also want to check out OpenFATE, https://features.opensuse.org/
(more info on OpenFATE - openSUSE , for feature requests.)
cheers,
That was the answer I was waiting for, but: I’m logging in, then entering this address in firefox https://bugzilla.novell.com/index.cgi and a message appears:
Please confirm that your email address is valid by clicking here and following the instructions. If you have already done so, please log out and log back in.
(iChain.pm: message 3)
Then log out, logging in, and everything repeating rotfl! kind of funny
I did that myself just some minutes before and I think the page says as well that you can send or resend an activation email to your email address.
Then when you get this email from Novell, there is a link and an activation code to use, after that you should be up and running… and loged in with your account. If the account is not validated, I imagine you ll get this message again and again!
hope this helps…
