Something strange is happening in the new 15.4 version. When I uninstall a program through Yast. After marking the program to uninstall what appears is a screen saying “installing” and it doesn’t come out anymore and it gets stuck. How can it be fixed?
Have you waited long enough?
Yes, there is a change in Yast, and I don’t much like it. Previously, it would tell you what it was currently doing. Now it just says 0 packages remaining to install. But, in my experience, it does eventually complete and tell you that it is done.
Reading this again and again, I came to the conclusion that this is a Leap 15.4 problem, thus I changed the prefix from OTHER VERSION into LEAP 15.4
(And I ignored that you have 15.0 in your signature.)
Even in tumbleweed it’s been months now with that kind of style.
Not good cause it’s not clear what it is doing…
No amount of “me too” on this forum is going to help. Open bug report, provide reasonable arguments explaining what is wrong with current situation. Constructive ideas how it can be improved are even better.
Thanks for the reminder. I don’t consider it a bug but rather a feature because it’s no coincidence that from tumbleweed it is now in Leap 15.4.
I am afraid if I submit a bug report it will not be accepted as a bug but just whining or complaining like what is pictured in this thread.
Fear is the mind killer.
