I didn’t report the bug, I just found it while searching for a solution.
I noticed the same thing. I ran an update via YaST and it worked fine. Further updates through Kpackagekit seem fine, though.
I might have spoken a little too soon…Kpackagekit installed the updates this evening, but it seemed to take a lot longer than it should have.

See that command line as root:
zypper up -t package # to upgrade all installed packages with newer versions, where possible
I had this bug, and all the waiting updates were from Packman. Couldn’t get Kpackage kit to install them, so I used Yast to update. Kpackagekit seems to have since disappeared from the system tray.
I noticed today that Kpackagekit updater didn’t show the progress of the files as they downloaded from the full Packman repository. I’ll note here that I added Packman via “add community repository.” Once downloaded, the installation showed progress, and was quite quick.
