I discovered today Google map hangs after it loads and causing high CPU load. Seems to be solved in 120.0.1
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/120.0.1/releasenotes/. Not sure if others faces the same problem? and how long does it normally takes for new FF releases to be implemented?
Never had a problem on four different machines … I’ve have Stable and Beta installed, and as a rule, I run Beta, unless there are issues.
Admittedly, I mostly use FF to render Stellarium Web, an online planetarium app. Just checked Google Maps in both and all is good - of course, they’re above version 120
No issues with Firefox 120+ on any of my machines, across a couple different variants of openSUSE and Fedora.
Hi, firefox hangs on google maps.
It only work in google maps if firefox is in safe-mode
firefox --safe-mode
I too have had weird things in 120. Out of memory. Had to killall firefox from an ssh to get things running again.
Firefox 120.0 has issues - also the history sometimes does not update - close history and reopen and history is correct.
Same issue here. I also has happened randomly in reddit, facebook, and youtube. I thought it might be one of the add-on, but no.
same here, that’s an issue that has been fixed in firefox 120.0.1 but it’s not yet available on tumbleweed
120.0.1 just implemented in TW, problem seem to be solved.
