My experience is that it will work the 1st time

Problem is found in subsequent attempts

Workaround:
I have found that if one uses “zypper dup” 1st and then switch to Yast & do the “Update all > Update all with a later version”, works just fine (worked for me with KDE3 install).

Could someone please post the list of repositories for openSUSE 11.1 B2?
I had to burn the live CD iso to a DVD rather to be able to install which went well. Unfortunately, it could not read the repositories from the dvd. Now, thing work well, but I can not update either from Yast or by updater. The updater shows a question mark and says can not check for update.

Is the url what I have to add as a repository in YaSt? Or:
Do I need to go there and find the repository list?

Open yast, then Package repositories, then “add”, then choose Community repos. From there you can select default “oss” repo. Or you can add that url manually Index of /factory/repo/oss

Im not sure what that Yast path is by english, im using finnish locale.
