-=welcome=- new user and poster

you don’t tell us much about your setup and i’m not gonna google
“BSNL” to learn what that might be, or what kind of equipment they
might provide…but, i will ask: have you looked at their provided
documentation to see if they have info that helps other than windows
users?

and, have you searched these fora to see if anyone else has already
solved this problem, and all you have to do is follow their trail?
like, do any of these postings in this search help?

oh, i see references therein to India, and maybe you are in India…i
know lots of folks there use Linux so you might want to reach out and
seek assistance with a local Linus User Group, which may all be
experts on BSNL, try http://www.linux.org/groups/india/

so, i went ahead and made a search on BSNL’s site for linux and
broadband, you can look and see if they help you:

google is your friend, and first step in getting help is helping
yourself…

see, in your first post you didn’t say you were automatically
connected…by, “not able to access the internet” do you mean you
can’t go to (for example) http://cnn.com? but, have you tried:
http://157.166.255.19/

if you can’t get to cnn.com but you can using its IP you may need to
disable IPv6, do that by following the instructions here:

and, get back to us…
