I have installed the generic drivers from brother for linux, however, it only provides a usb connection.
Please help me find a way to connect wirelessly to this printer.

To configure your printer, stop the firewall temporarily
sudo systemctl status SuSEfirewall2
Use YaST, system-config-printer, or the CUPS web interface to detect and configure the network printer.
Does that help?
BTW, running the ‘lpinfo’ command from a terminal like this
sudo lpinfo -l -v
can be useful to help discover any network-attached printers. It invokes all of the CUPS backends to run and report any detected printer devices.
