Broken SWAP?

Hello all, Recently have some problem with swap partition :messed:, After installing the 12.1 setup my disks as RAID as usual with this configure:

30GiB x2 RAID 1 root
1GiB x2 RAID 1 swap
Rest RAID 0 home

i am not at all sure, but i think your missing swap may be related to
the new systemD used to boot, see:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=731230

you might avoid the problem by, at the first green screen press F5 and
select “system V” (the old way) as shown in this image:

if systemV solves your problem let us know please…

Hmmm… I can’t answer for sure because this problem appeared randomly but as now I’ve test it five times with system V without any issue.

Your output doesn’t prove that you are working with swap.

You can not dumpe2fs a swap partition.

Yes now I knew, Sometime system break during boot and this error appear

fsck.ext4: Invalid argument while trying to open /dev/md1

It could be the systemd issue. I think there is an update for that.

systemd version 38 & 39 is released but it’s not available in stable repositories yet, Can I install it from source? because there’s two packages installed by default, systemd & systemd-sysvinit

I would not recommend installing systemd from source unless you are an
expert on it.
