Hi.
i tried to download openSUSE 12.3 Live Gnome 64 bit using bittorrent link but it seems there was a problem with that. it showed following message:
The connection was reset, The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
i had the same problem with KDE version and its bittorrent link.
i tried several days and everytime i faced with the same problem.
please solve the problem (if there is any).
Thanks

Er… we do not solve problems. We can help you to solve your problem,
but we are not paid support, nor do we control those torrent servers. We
are just users like you.
Considering that the torrents are very active around the date of
release, and considering that release date was months ago, it is very
possible that the torrents are no longer active, or very little so. I
would advise to use a metalink downloader instead - instructions in the
download help page.

That’s surprising.

Have you tried a direct download? Using a tool like aria2 it should not be an issue. The issue your experiencing is why I don’t like bittorrent. You are connecting to one or more peoples computer, so if they go offline, you loose that portition, until it’s found elsewhere on the network.

That’s what I recommend as well, using aria2c, and feeding it the
metalink link, not the plain link. It will use all available methods,
even torrents, guaranteeing the fastest possible download, with a
verified checksum. It will even repair an iso with a bad checksum
without re-downloading it all.

What ports are you using for the torrent client
the default ports 6881 and a few others depending on the client .
Have been known to be blocked by the ISP’s ( pressure from “Hollywood” via the US State Dept. )
i normally use something in the 50,000 to 65,536 range ( 65,536 is the last port )
Two nights ago i dl’d the 12.3 64 bit torrent
All 4.4 Gig of it in 20 min.
