Broadcom wl driver installed for bcm4313, connects but still no internet.

I have an Acer Aspire One D255 netbook with opensuse 11.3 installed and after several painstaking days of tinkering I successfully installed the broadcom wl drivers, and now my wifi card is operational. However, i can connect to my wireless network, but still have no internet access. I have searched the forums and google for a solution but most issues I have found that are similar to mine have been resolved once the wl drivers and firmware where installed, any help would be most appreciated!

If you are a KDE user and have not put much into KWallet, the following script file might be up your allay. Normally you are setting the use of NetworkManager instead of ifup and you must use KWallet when using KDE to keep your wireless access code.

knetfix - Version 1.00 -KDE KNetworkManager Fix for Wireless Connection Problems

Thank You,

You should post the output of ‘/usr/sbin/iwconfig’, ‘/sbin/route -n’, and ‘cat
/etc/resolv.conf’.

Has your 11.3 system been updated since the installation by using the wired
interface?
