I posted earlier but it seems to have gotten lost.
Thanks to you my Broadcom bmc4312 now connects to my router but nothing works. No /Firefox or email. Hopefully you can explain how to fix this problem. Sorry for the double post if the first one shows up.
Same issue, with my pc, i can ping google.com, but no internet via firefox, etc.
Thanks for your help. I finally figured out the problem and it is now working great. For a 64 year old man I have learned more about computers in 2 weeks than since I started using them. Your help has been wonderful and I really appreciate all your help and like openSUSE which my wife and I now use as our main operating system. I am much more comfortable with Linux on line than I ever was with windows.

What was the problem? Your solution might be of some help to others.
