Broadcom BCM4322 not working on MacPro

Hi All!

Trying to install Leap on a 2008 Macbook Pro for a friend of mine, wireless doesn’t work (plus other things).

After reading the Sticky here’s the various command outputs:

/sbin/lspci

04:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4322802.11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller (rev 01)

/sbin/lspci -n

04:00.0 0280: 14e4:432b (rev 01)

I’ve installed the ‘sta’ drivers from the manufacturer and after seeing it wasn’t working uninstalled b43 from Yast, and now i’m lost…

Edit: No chance of having an Ethernet cable connected to it :frowning:

Reinstalled B43 since it was the firmware and haven’t noticed, now i get:

The rest stays the same.

Hi
Install both the broadcom-wl and broadcom-wl-kmp-default (for the 4.1.20-11 kernel if system is up to date), then you should be good to go.

I normally just rebuild from the src rpm (MacBook3,1 late 2007) after a kernel update.
