Broadcom 43142 not working with Opensuse 13.2

I am having trouble in getting my wifi driver working in my Dell inspiuron laptop. I’ve tried the steps here https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/494525-Enable-Broadcom-BCM43142-in-OpenSuse-13-1 with out any luck.
Please somebody help me…

Just add the Packman repo and install broadcom-wl and broadcom-wl-kmp-desktop.
No need to install the driver manually like described in that thread.

If it still doesn’t work, you’d need to be more specific about your problem.

But note, that openSUSE by default uses ifup or Wicked for managing your network interfaces. You need to configure them in YaST or manually via config files.
To be able to use your desktop’s network applet, you need to switch to NetworkManager in YaST->Network Devices->Network Settings.
