Broadcom 4306 wireless card
I can not activate the card in question on OpenSuse 12.3 Beta 1 KDE.
In all previous versions (including 12.3 Millestone) was just install the b43-firmware Packman.
In Beta 1, installed from DVD, I followed the same procedure: I enabled in Yast Repository Packman Factory and I installed the package.I restarted my pc but I noted that the wireless card was not active. I checked into Yast and I noted that the package was not installed. I repeated several times installation but always without success. Given that I also notified the Packman Team this problem, you have any idea about it?
Thank you for your attention

Please state exactly what you did? Your description above is confusing.
I don’t understand why Packman is involved. You need to install the
“b43-fwcutter” package from the standard oss repo, and then run
sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware
That will download the file containing the firmware for b43 and extract the
necessary files to the proper position.
packman repo seems to provide a blob
b43-firmware - Firmware files for Broadcom bcm43xx series based PCI/PCMCIA cards
