Exactly!!! There is a green openSUSE colour scheme but no special folders to match. Very nice thank you! Exactly what I was looking for. But tell me, is it easy to edit the colour myself a bit too? How about making a blue-green folder colour to match tumbleweed’s current wallpaper?
Yes, you can edit the images using any vector graphics editor, inkscape seems the favoured one.
Or, as these are simple svg images, use a text editor to edit the colour codes used. The breeze folders are made up of only four basic colours. Which described in terms of an actual physical folder are as follows:
Logo/Image
Rear top tab
Front (top gradient)
Front (bottom gradient)

Oh yes it’s soooo cool! Maybe a bit more brighter would match better? Not sure. Are you going to tweak more stuff? Cause I wanna be a follower rotfl! I am using Gnome 3 though at the moment but it’s ok. Personally I tried to change the adwaita theme so that the blue selections will be openSUSE-green (you know, that subtle deep green) but I don’t really know how to do that exactly…
Btw I have never used any (vector) graphics tool except gimp to alter some colours of individual pngs like some openSUSE orbs I downloaded to replace the kde menu icon. But when it comes to whole icon themes…how do you edit the colour of all these folder icons? Can the program open all of them and apply the colour change to all the files you want?
But I think you’re right, maybe a little too dark at the moment.

Unlikely… Unless it’s for my own use… then I’d have no objection to sharing it

I’m no graphics expert by any means… If they’re *.png files then as far as I know there’s no option but to individually edit.
For the Breeze folder icons, as they only have the four basic colours, and the (*.svg) file can be edited as a text file, I simple edit one using kate until I think I like the colours. Then use “kfilereplace” to globally change all of the folder icons.
KDE generally needs more decoration stuff. Of course there are lots of them but from what I’ve seen they are mostly old themes mainly for KDE 4. I like the Antu icon theme a lot except the its folder icons, and the dark Antu desktop theme, very modern. Darqlassic is good too cause it is black with subtle-green selections, however I can’t find a window theme to match the panel’s dark colouration. Dark KDE coulour themes are ugly (personal opinion). It would be nice to see a full vertex theme for kde or something. Breeze icons are the best though. And the default theme in general. **** you make me wanna try KDE again rotfl! I think it is very good that it has adopted that flat and modernized style, especially the icons (libreoffice breeze icons are great). But I think it needs some improvements in general like the timing and duration of some animations, some better themes, and things like that u know what I mean…
My apologies for being off topic!!
Great job. To get the correct blue/green, check the marketing mailing list somewhere around november 2014, Zvezdana or Ken has posted the hex value for the color…
Thanks for the info, but I don’t think I’ll be changing anything. It was only something I quickly cobbled together as a result of “Linux4Pharmacy’s” request.
