Is there a way to tell OBS that it should look for dependencies in the project where I branched the package from?
Hi
Nope, I find it easier to just create a new build repository based on
the package branched on, then it will utilize the source you copied or
linked from.

Hmmm or did you actually mean ‘branch’, eg create a package/project;
home:yourusername:branches:project
If so it does it automatically, but publishing will be disabled.

I’m trying to branch the OBS appliance in order to fix some stuff. Not working for me. Lots of missing dependencies.

I managed to get OBS building OBS-Appliance once by removing the repo path from the image repo. Now it is blocking because of packages that are built and ready…?
