Boxee on 11.2?

Hi Jonathan_R. I’m trying to get xbmc working on my Acer Aspire Revo (it’s a small nettop based on the atom 330 with ION graphics). The problem is with the xbmc build in the build service is that it doesn’t start up if there is no cd or dvd rom attached to the PC. This apparently is a problem with one of the packages which has an error. Quoting from some documentation on the xbmc site.

Notice: on system without CD/DVD device XBMC hang with 100% CPU on start (before GUI): error in <=libcdio-0.81-2 … libcdio10-0.81-8.1.i586.rpm from OBS multimedia:libs/openSUSE_11.2 - same situation, hanged …

The live and Ubuntu versions of xbmc don’t have this fault so it appears to be specific to openSUSE. I’ve tried both oS 11.2 and 11.3 and both are the same. Do you have any suggestions?
