Boxed openSUSE-11.3 DVD arrived

My boxed set of openSUSE-11.3 arrived today.

Pix of it unpacked:

It comes with 2 DVDs: a double layer 32-bit/64-bit DVD, and also an ‘extensions’ DVD (presumably that extensions DVD has the non-free software (non-free as per free software foundation definition of free)). And fo course a small lightweight easy to carry, reasonably polished, ‘Start-up’ Manual.

I was late in ordering the DVD this year. Typically I order the DVD well in advance of the openSUSE release, but last year I was ‘bit’ with a poor quality DVD, possibly due to it being rushed out the door by whom ever SuSE-GmbH paid to burn/package it ? … anyway, this year I decided to wait a month and then order.

I have not yet tried to install anything from this 11.3 DVD yet to confirm its quality is good, but I would be surprised if it was not. I think last year was an exception.

Congratulations !!! A friend and me are already looking out for it in our regular book shop (some sort of tradition). At keast now we know what it looks like, curious about the second DVD.
