Botched fglrx install, no GUI, how do I connect to wireless via command line? (and fix flgrx?)

First: Sorry if this is in wrong forum, connecting the wireless seemed like the best place to start fixing my problem, but I would also very much appreciate any pointers on how to go about fixing the rest of the issues.

I recently installed FGLRX via this tutorial (YAST Version). However, I believe I installed the drivers for opensuse 12.2 instead of 12.1, which is what I am running.

As a result, after restart, the computer boots into the command line interface, instead of KDE. I believe I should start trying to fix the problem by going into yast and uninstalling/reinstalling the correct drivers. However I am not aware of how to connect to my wireless network via the command line. I have found lots of tutorials about configuring a wireless device, but none about actually just connecting it to a WPA protected network.

Thank you very much for your help.
