In earlier days we had a install - toolbox option for restoring the bootloader grub.
Why is this still missing on the openSUSE 13.1 DVD.
It is not that easy to restore the boot loader when windows is installed after openSUSE.

Because folks wanted so much stuff on the DVD it was removed to it’s own rescue cd…
Works nice from a USB device as well and it does efi booting…
Ok not very handy to remove the bootloader restore option imo. Whats on the rescue dvd

An XFCE desktop environment with all the tools you need, if they aren’t you can install them as it’s persistent, but should be able to chroot or what ever is needed to fix the bootloader.
