Boot Up Fuzzy Screen and lots of text

When i boot up i get a fuzzy screen and lots of text to do with the boot up and shutdown when loaded and on desktop it is fine how can i fix the fuzzy screen on bootup

Also when i try to play some games eg 3d chess it just showed a blurred image and i cant do anything

Try to boot linux with the bootparameter

splash=silent vga=791

If you play 3d games and it doesnt work, then try to install the graphic driver provided by the manufacturer.

i changed the boot parameter but i now want to know what the default boot parameter is
