hello guys!!
I have a big problem, and I hope you can help me to solve it.
Yesterday I used gparted to shrink win xp partition and to expand opensuse.
When I try to reboot my laptop it doesn’t boot anything, and it doesn’t dislay on the screen anything like missing grub, grub rescue.
Does anybody know how to solve my problem??
I have opensuse 11.1 gnome on acer 5920g
Please help me
thanks

Are you able to boot gparted or anything from the CD/DVD drive?

here I’m…
Are you able to boot gparted or anything from the CD/DVD drive?
Yes I’m able: both gparted live cd and opensuse live cd work.
Reinstall the bootloader using one of these five methods: HowTo Boot into openSUSE when it won’t Boot from the Grub Code on the Hard Drive
I’m going to follow your advice…
I’ll back as soon as possible hoping that everything goes well.
thanks!
