Boot problem with xp

Hi,

I have installed suselinux 11.1 in my system. I was already having window xp installed in my c driver. Now after installing suse i am not able to boot into my windowxp. I am not getting the option in bootloader to boot via windows .

I tried using the below command
title Windows
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader (hd0,0)+1

when i tried this i got the option windows but when i loged into that i am getting the print

rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader (hd0,0)+1

could any one help me

try this:

title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1

I’m guessing that the extra stuff on the chainloader line could be an issue

Wow it worked … thank u

Are you sure that Windows is on /dev/sda1? Please post the output of

sudo /sbin/fdisk -l
