Yeah, tried it out.Does not seem to work on my system.I had activated the Christmas penguin boot screen and F9 caused the superman penguin to appear…UP UP and AWAYrotfl!

Ouch! X-)
Well, maybe that option is only available in the “install media”. I say that
because so it seems by carefully reading the above link.
“(…) as of beta2, the graphical bootloader (the one on the install media)
supports speech output via pc-speaker. That is, it reads all menu items to
you.”
You could give it a try with the livecd and see what happens :-?
