ok im a recent convert to opensuse (was on the ubuntu train) now everything is working for me sound out of the box ( for once every other distro has failed at this)
now my only issue is while booting up it gets stuck at the boot screen ( the one with the green lizard) and doesnt want to go any further until i press esc and enter and have to press enter at every command to get it to boot any help regarding the issue would be great

I’m not sure I imagine what is happening :-?
I mean the symptoms. Can you try to explain again, give samples of what you
see, or even better, could you make a video?
Perhaps somebody understands it and can explain in different words :-?
The only idea is that you have enabled a little known step by step boot
mode that is used for debugging. I don’t know right now where it is
enabled… Ah:
/etc/sysconfig/boot:
PROMPT_FOR_CONFIRM=“no”

He means Yast → system → etc sysconfig editor → system → boot → prompt for confirm (make it no).
ok i will try to explain better . turn computer on at the first splash screen it just sits there and doesnt do anything untill i press esc to the console and press enter. after each command it completes i have to press enter until it is fully booted to the desktop

Did you run the check media option on the install media?
What is the first prompt you must press enter to continue for?
