I have a clean install of whatever version # 11 is up to. My problem is that during the boot - select version page, if I actually select the default setting by pressing ‘enter’ rather than just leave the ten seconds or so to elapse. the computer will boot into the root user at a command line interface and ask for the root password.
If I leave the computer alone it will boot into the page where it logs on as me (the user) and asks for password.
This irritates the hell out of me, can I fix it.
