Im running opensuse 11.4/windows 7 pro on my dell xps. My issue is that when I’m selecting which OS to boot if i chose opensuse it takes me to the screen with the cameleon on it with the loading bar and after a second the screen goes black and nothing happens… Failsafe works and so does windows, thats what i am on right now. So whats going on?

Did it ever work, or is it a new install?
What hardware? Sp. graphics.

if you press the escape key whilst booting it will give you some more information
yes it has worked before. I am on it now actually. I have figured out that if i hold down my power button immediately after choosing opensuse it loads. But if i dont hold the power button i just get the black screen. I shall press the escape key next time i start it up and see what it gives me.
