Anyone get BOINC from the repos running under 13.1x64 with an nvidia card? I got the drivers from nvidia installed (console logon with running their installer “.run” file) and when I run boinc-client from the command line, it sees my GPUs, but the manager GUI never connects…

I don’t have a nvidia card. I’m just wanting to make sure you got your
BOINC from http://www.rechenaugust.de/boinc/ The one in the
repository has problems.

EDIT: yes, thanks!! That seemed to work. There are so many versions out there, and OS sets up many libraries in a nonstandard *nix fashion. :wink:

We can thank a forum contributor named Pirithous. He/she helped me when
I had problems with the SUSE repo version of BOINC.
