Hello,
I have some Dell servers that seem to require some type of bnx driver.
Therefore, it looks as though I need Broadcom drivers for the Ethernet controllers.
So far, I’ve only successfully built a USB thumb drive image of, openSUSE Leap 42.1, JeOS.
I tried to rebuild the JeOS and search for bnx and broadcom but didn’t find anything for Ethernet Controllers.
Should I be trying something other than JeOS?

I’m not familiar with this Broadcom hardware, but FWIW the bnx and bnx2x drivers are included as part the 4.4.x kernel used with openSUSE Leap 42.2. Hopefully, one of these drivers are relevant to your NIC hardware. As 42.1 will be EOL in a few months, it might be better to try openSUSE Leap 42.2 instead.
Also, make sure that you have the firmware (kernel-firmware package) installed, as that may well be the cause of your issue here.
I did not have that package installed. Therefore, I will rebuild it by adding the kernel-firmware package.

Okay, so eth1 now exists but not yet active. If using wicked, you should be able to configure via YaST > System > Network Settings, find the relevant device in ‘Overview’ and ‘Edit’ to suit your network environment.
