Hello recently i got a live opensuse 11.4 dvd, and on both trying Live gnome desktop and also on installation the desktop is very blurred. This my first time using opensuse. the screenshot is show in the link ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting . i am unable to see or work anything. i suspect it is my nvidia graphics card problem but i am not sure. Any help would be very much grateful

Do things function? What graphics device? or is it part of the mobo?
suse starts up normally. and the desktop cannot be seen . instead a green blurred image comes in. when i press alt+ctrl+del i can see the original desktop for a fraction of a second so that i can shut down it by using mouse. the graphic device is inbuilt in mother board which is - Integrated programmable shader model 3.0 DirectX 9GPU Supports 256 mb of max shared memory Supports RGB with max resolution of 1920*1440 (@75 GHz) -
I see the Asus site is less than helpful about the GPU, and is as you quote. Which means nothing, except that it’s obviously made for windows. What we really need to know is the actual device chip.

Did you try pressing F3 and select vesa ?
in the manual there is a chip no - NVIDIA MCP68 SE -
i have no option like -openSUSE live GNOME in the live cd as seen in the image in the link
my options are - boot from hard disk
-installation …etc
So it’s a DVD
No such thing as a **Live **DVD
So you ran the install or can’t you get that far?

checked the installation media and then installed
the display adapters from device manager are NVIDIA GeForce7025 / NVIDIA nForce 630a
