Bluetooth problems after todays Kernel update.

Hi all.

After today’s Kernel update (uname: 5.3.18-59.37-default #1 SMP Mon Nov 22 12:29:04 UTC 2021 (d10168e) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) Bluetooth stopped to work: after connecting to the BT headphones it switches off. I have the BT4.0 USB dongle (ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)) and Arctic P614 BT phones.

Any ideas, please?

Thanks in advance,
Vadim.

Hi there.

My other BT headphones (one Sennheiser model) are working with this dongle as expected. Will check with mobile phone and report.

Thanks,
Vadim.

So, I’ve tested with mobile phone and it worked. With Arctic is all ok.

Vadim.

Somebody, please?

Thanks,
Vadim.

You may create bug report.

Hi.
Yes, I would like to do that. How can I do that, please?
Thanks, Vadim.

You could list which wireless devices are rfkill controlled:

 # rfkill list
0: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
1: hci0: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
```](https://forums.opensuse.org/misc.php?do=bbcode#code)
If your Bluetooth is blocked then rfkill unblock Bluetooth
So, some bad news with the same hardware.
Kernels are the latest one from the latest Kernel Repo, the hardware didnt changed.
The same problem, that i have, is that after the connection of bluetooth headphones to the computer its going to switch off power of the bluetooth completely.
Under MX Linux 21.1 everything works as expected out of the box.
Thanks in advance,
Vadim.
