Bluetooth mouse trusted and paired, not connecting.

I have an HP X4000B bluetooth mouse, which I’ve been using with this laptop since v13.2. I’m currently on Leap 42.3. I’ve never had a problem with connectivity until now.

The mouse is paired and trusted, and has always connected with each boot. Today it didn’t, so I tried reconnecting and even repairing, but connection fails. The mouse is functional on a different computer.

Any ideas? My expertise is mostly as a user. I’m fine installing software and can troubleshoot most issues I encounter, but this one has me stumped.

Okay, never mind. I should have thought of this before but it only occurred to me after starting this thread. I fixed it by removing the mouse from my bluetooth devices list and paired it as if it was a new device, and that worked. Sorry for the unnecessary thread.
