So guys.
Now I am finally confused about the current status of bluetooth on KDE. See, Kdebluetooth4 (which naturally comes with OpenSuse 11.1) does not work at all. Kinda crappy to include non-working software in a final release.
After uninstalling the bluetooth-stuff that came with OpenSuse I installed kbluetooth 4.3 (the most recent release) via OCI on WEBPIN. That doesn’t work either. Now what… skip Bluetooth? No way.
What I really want is a perfectly working bluetooth software with a comfortable GUI.
How much mess will there be? jeeeech…
// bedit: ONE WORD: AWESOME!
Installing from your link worked. PLUS turning on the hardware switch.
You rock.Thanks again.

A huge thanx from me too. Finally got bluetooth working
Now… would anyone know how I can make this work in KDE3? I mean, how do I disable the non-working KDE3 bluetooth framework and get kbluetooth4 to automatically load instead at every boot/login?
I know, I know, it’s called hijacking…

And it is the most ineffective way of asking a question.
Please start a new thread with a better subject line to gather people’s attention.
